Zombie Fitness & Peanut Butter Protein Shake

So I was formerly the laziest person in the world. The only workouts I ever did was on my Wii or walking around Target shopping >.< Oh and by the way Wii Active 2 is actually really good... if you stick to it, which I usually didn't. But the whole fitness craze on Pinterest has really inspired me to get in shape. I'm not really overweight but I want to be stronger, leaner and healthier over all. I’m even attempting to become a runner through the Couch to 5K program. If someone had told me this 4 years ago I would've laughed in their face. One of my favorite fitness apps for obvious reasons is:

There's interval training where zombies chase you and it's run or die. However you don't have to be a runner to enjoy the app. You can turn off the zombie chase and simply walk and listen to the story line & your playlist while collecting supplies for your town.

Peanut Butter Lover Protein Shake

1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 banana (preferably frozen)

Blend & Enjoy

Halloween Decor

So this has been a rather uneventful month on the blogging front. Again, school and life have kept me pretty busy. From this blog you'd never know that October is pretty much my favorite month ever. It's my birthday month as well as my dad, aunt, cousin, and little adorable nephew. Weather in Florida gets less disgustingly hot. And most important of all it's Halloween time! Here are some things I crafted just for this occasion:
Everything but the labeled jars were made this year. The labeled jars I made last year, but I didn't have a nifty blog last year so I figured I would include them now. The labeled jars were inspired by another blog but I don't have the link to it anymore. The labels are just regular printer paper, after you print your words out you rip around the edges to "cut" them out. Carefully burn the edges, then dip in tea, take em out & let dry.

Zombies in the Pool Hall: Birthday Cake!

Zombies+Barbies=Zarbies
Earlier that day...
Heroes & Villains
Showdown
The Aftermath
This excellent cake was the work of the birthday boy/man's mother, son, girlfriend and myself. My main contributtions were the twisted barbies, the Joe/Ken Doll, and decorating cupcakes. Other than that I just assisted and consulted. It's a tradition for his mom and son to make awesome cakes for him every year. This was only my second year being involved but it definately beats last years cake.
Oh and if anyone was wondering the green on the pool table is 2 sugar sheets from JoAnn's. You just peel off the backing and stick em on to the frosting. The pool balls are Nerd's gumballs dipped in white chocolate. The numbers and letters also from the JoAnn's sugar sheet section but the numbers had to be cut with an exacto knife to fit properly on the gumballs.

Back in Black

Back in black...  and a plaid shirt. Another day, another zombie gnome. This one was for a very good friend of mine who just graduated with her Associate's degree and is getting ready to move on to a University. Congrats Jenny! She wanted me to make her one a while back and I figured it would make a great graduation gift.

Zombie Gnome Twins

So yet again, another Zombie Gnome. It's the twin of the first one I made. A friend bought it so I could zombify it for her. Since it's not anything new, same gnome different colored snail I decided lets make things interesting with a mini ZG photoshoot. Seeing the two of them together just makes me want to make a bunch more of the same kind, so they could be a mini ZG army.

Zombies & Coffins

So bad news is I officially suck at updating this blog. My last post was at the beginning of this month. Good news is it's Spring Break! Don't have to go back to school until April 6th so no excuses, I need to get to crafting. Since I last posted my big sister had beautiful baby boy. So baby related crafts may be in the near future. Also I got my hair done. My hairstylist (a.k.a. cousin Holly) has been slowly trying to turn me blonde so I figured I might as well go for it... with a "healthy" dose of black. Definately needed the change, and I think it turned out quite nicely. You be the judge.

Finally posting the painted project I promised ages ago. Found a little gnome coin purse at Claire's which of course I couldn't resist zombifying.
And now a recent project! Last night I finally used a little wooden box coffin that I got from Michael's around Halloween last year. Sadly it might've even been the year before last that I got it.

Zombie Gnome Obsession

A year ago my first zombie gnome sort of happened by accident. I intended to make a super bright and happy, acid trippin gnome but my hyperactive cat knocked him over face first into black paint. So I zombified him to cover up the damage. Ended up with a pretty adorable zombie gnome and my obsession started. This latest gnome is bigger and creepier, but he still has a bright happy coat on.
