Lavender Bath Salth

{Instructions from blog uTry.it}
1 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup Sea salt
2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
10 to 15 drops of lavender essential oil
a few drops of lavender soap colorant

Combine all ingredients and place in an airtight container. Let it rest for a few days before you use it to allow the lavender and essential oils to infuse the salts.

  1. I love the scent of lavender! I've never made my own bath salts - did they dissolve OK?

  2. The salt dissolved just fine. I did use sea salt from the craft store made to be used for bath salt. Regular sea salt would be cheaper and probably work as well it just would just look a bit different. The dried lavender of course gets left behind after you drain the tub.
